High School Fellowship Interviews
Get to know a community of scholars & leaders
The River Cities Humanities Association firmly roots itself in the human side of everything. To us, you are much more than a mere number or activities on a resume. Indeed, the only obstacle to accepting all of our fellowship applicants is finding an appropriate number of skilled advisors to provide individualized attention & feedback. When reviewing applications, we look far beyond how many awards you have or what honor society you're in -- we want to uncover your personality, your curiosity, your passions, and your interests. We want to get to know you as an individual, and we want you to get to know us. That's why the RCHA guarantees interviews to all applicants who request one. These interviews are personal, informal discussions that take place either in person or via Skype depending on your location. Although interviews are an optional component of the application process, we strongly encourage you to consider interviewing with us.
In PersonApplicants living in regions near our interviewers can ask for an in person interview. These are conducted in public atmospheres such as coffee shops, restaurants, squares, or parks. Parents are invited, though not required, to accompany applicants.

Via SkypeApplicants living in regions away from our interviewers are assigned to Skype interviews. Video-chat interviews are no different than in person interviews beyond the simple fact that the applicant & interviewer are in different locations.
